Bethlehem, PA (August 13, 2013) - August 13th is a date that those behind popular Christian music website JesusFreakHideout.com have always held dear. It was on this day in 1996 that site creator John DiBiase first humbly debuted Jesus Freak Hideout for the web. With that in mind, it seemed only natural that on the website's 17th anniversary in 2013 that JFH should release its fourth FREE independent music sampler--and third in a popular series--Songs We've Been Trying To Tell You About (And Others We Haven't), Volume Three. With Volume One and Volume Two having released in 2012, Volume Three represents many new and familiar projects and artists from the independent music scene.
Each compilation is comprised of artists that the JFH staff personally invited to be a part of the project. In most cases, it has been left up to the artist to select the song to be featured on the compilation (with a few exceptions). Among the artists represented on Songs We've Been Trying To Tell You About (And Others We Haven't), Volume Three are Audio Adrenaline frontman and dc Talk original member Kevin Max, Vocal Few (The Classic Crime's Matt MacDonald's side project with his wife, Kristie), Seabird, Nations (formerly known as Above The Golden State), Tal & Acacia, Playdough, Justin McRoberts, The Ember Days, Light Society (featuring former Nevertheless vocalist Joshua Pearson), compilation regulars Arrows & Sound and former Hawk Nelson vocalist Jason Dunn, and many more. Volume Three is also the only place you'll get a previously unreleased new song from Everyday Sunday and a sneak peek at upcoming releases from Nations, Jason Dunn, and rock legends Guardian (among others).

"We're really excited to be able to keep releasing compilations featuring new and veteran talent in the Christian music industry," says DiBiase. "We're firm believers that music listeners won't hear all that Christian music truly has to offer on the radio and we're thrilled to have the opportunity to share with them some of the hardest working indies around. We hope that listeners can find at least a few new artists they previously hadn't either heard of before, or had given a chance, that they can enjoy and support."
